A Different Tack on the Accessible Voting Question

I'm wondering if those of us who do not choose to use them might still be compelled to use the voting machines at the voting precincts a week from Tuesday? Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of accessible machnes that we as blind people can use independently. But until the machine software is less vulnerable to outside hacking, I am going to do whatever I can not to use one. Frankly, I'd trust the little old ladies in the precincts to mark my ballot properly much more than I'd trust a machne programmed with no governmental oversight by a private company with potential conflicts of interest. Just my 2.5 cents.

I don't think we'll be forced to use the machines. I voted last week adn I just had my mom come along and mark my ballot for me and signed the bottom. It was a breeze.
